Flu Vaccine Clinics- Please call today to schedule your child’s appointment. We have both the injectable and the nasal mist available. 

It is recommended all children starting at 6 months of age receive the flu vaccine.

VACCINE UPDATES:
Meningococcal vaccine (Menactra).  New recommendation for adolescents to have a booster.  The first dose should be given at age 11-12 yrs and followed by a booster at age 16 yrs.

Human Papillomavirus-HPV Vaccine (Gardasil brand only)previously approved for females, has NOW been approved and recommended for Males ages 9-26. If you are interested in this vaccine for your child, please contact your insurance to find out if you have insurance coverage.  If you do not have insurance coverage you may check with your local county clinic (VNA in Dubuque) and they may have it available.

Did you know  the American Academy of Pediatrics now recommends children have YEARLY exams?

We have openings NOW .  Your child may need to have forms completed for daycare, preschool, kindergarten, camps, sports etc.  For most forms the exams are valid for one year. Avoid the summer rush and get it done today! 

Vitamin D recommendations have changed for children.  Ask about it at your child’s next routine exam!!

Physical Exam Appointments- Beginning at age 2 years, your child is recommended to get a routine exam every year.  If your child is will be attending preschool, kindergarten, camps or participating in sports, a physical exam may be required.  These physicals are done year round in our office and most exams are good for a year.  Therefore, it is not necessary to wait until summertime to do these exams.  We will do our best to get as many physicals in during the summertime.
